One console for cameras and audio. The RØDECaster Video combines a professional audio mixer with a full video switcher, so you switch between up to six video sources and seven custom scenes with a button press instead of juggling OBS, a mixer and a separate camera switcher.
A camera on each host, with automatic cuts. Each host gets their own BirdDog X1, and the RØDECaster Video's built-in auto-switching changes cameras and scenes when a new person starts talking, so the show runs without a camera operator.
Broadcast camera control. The BirdDog X1's 20x optical zoom covers everything from a wide two-shot to a tight close-up. Save up to 255 position presets, let AI tracking keep a moving host in frame, and see who is live at a glance with the halo tally light.
Room to grow into a networked studio. Alongside HDMI, each X1 outputs NDI|HX3 and 3G-SDI and streams over SRT and RTMP, and it can be powered over a single Ethernet cable with PoE+, so the cameras keep working as your studio expands.
Edit later, or go live now. Record each camera as its own ISO file plus the program feed to an external USB drive, or stream directly to YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, LinkedIn and X over Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
Broadcast audio to match the picture. The RØDECaster Video's preamps deliver up to 76dB of gain, and every channel gets EQ, compression, a noise gate, high-pass filter, de-esser and APHEX processing. The MV7+ is a cardioid dynamic mic that focuses on the voice in front of it and picks up less of the room.
Lighting that stays quiet. The GVM 3-light kit is fanless, so it adds no noise to your audio, with stepless brightness, 3000K to 5800K color temperature and full RGB for background accents.
